Where to integrate with Legiti

Our REST API enables you to send us data that we use to create a holistic representation of your business logic and to send us orders for which you would like a fraud detection decision on. Our SDKs enable the collection of behavioral and identity data, such as device attributes, IP address and user interactions. Both of them are extremely valuable for detecting fraud. As such, we suggest the following:
  • Integrating your Backend using our REST API orders Endpoint: This is how we provide fraud-detection for orders on your platform. Furthermore, through this endpoint is how we get the main data required for understanding the financial transactions happening in your platform. It also allows us to have a better and more complete understanding of your business.
  • Integrating your Frontend (Web, iOS, Android) using our SDKs: this is how we can understand what users do before and after purchases, which significantly improves our protection capabilities.
Note that the manner of sending us information will vary depending on the integration service. In the SDK integrations, you can rely on the SDK itself to automatically relay the majority of the information we use to make a decision, whereas the calls to our REST API are up to you to make. You can read more about integrating with our REST API Collection endpoints, Evaluation endpoints, and our SDKs in the industry-specific documentation.

Legiti Entities

The primary Legiti entities are stateful objects. They have properties that can be updated, and the values of these properties are crucial to our evaluation of order validity. As such, it is critical that you use this integration (API/SDKs) to notify Legiti of any changes to these properties whenever they occur.
